CREATIVITY WEEK 2012
This brief will allow students to investigate the architectural design process; demonstrating (for new students) a number of approaches to design and allowing (for senior students) to explore and refresh an already established understanding of design philosophy.
The above is set within the theoretical and practical context of this School of architecture – looking to generate relevant + contextual architectural responses through a process driven methodology - where the ethos of craft/making and technology/buildability become intrinsically linked.
This project is a vehicle for students to interrogate pragmatic systems of design – generating a dialogue that engages with contemporary ideas of design, process, documentation and communication.
